What STEP2EGX does
STEP2EGX is the runway where companies get EGX-ready. It runs an AI-assisted diagnostic across four pillars — Financial, Legal & Governance, IT Operations and Market Equity — and produces a bilingual (Arabic / English) readiness report grounded in the real EGX / FRA rulebook, a tracked remediation roadmap, and matches with genuinely EGX-approved, conflict-free advisors.
Every readiness verdict is deterministic and cites the real listing rules. AI explains and accelerates the work — it never decides compliance on its own.
The public landing page frames the whole journey — the four-step runway, the vetted-advisor promise, and three subscription tiers (Basic EGP 5,000 · Professional EGP 15,000 · Enterprise EGP 50,000 per month).
Access, roles & credentials
Everyone signs in at /login. After authentication the platform reads your role and routes you to the right home screen automatically. The language toggle (EN / عربي) sits in the top-right of every page.
Seeded accounts — one per role
The database seeder creates five pre-verified demo users. All share the password password. Change these before any real-world use.

Accounts support two-factor authentication (set up at /2fa/setup) and email verification. Administrators and trainers/reviewers can also reach the Filament back-office at /admin.
The assessment journey
The heart of STEP2EGX is a four-step runway. A company profiles itself, answers the four-pillar diagnostic, receives a regulation-cited report, and is matched to advisors for each gap — then re-assesses over time to watch its readiness score climb.
- Step 1 — Company profile. Name (AR/EN), sector, legal form, target market, capital, revenue, free-float and audited-years figures tailor the diagnostic.
- Step 2 — Four-pillar diagnostic. Honest Yes / No / In-progress / Partially / Unsure answers to questions that each cite an EGX or FRA rule.
- Step 3 — Readiness report. A bilingual, criteria-scored report with verified citations and a remediation roadmap.
- Step 4 — Advisor matching. Quality-gated, conflict-checked advisors for each gap — hard independence gates run before any scoring.
Corporate portal role: corporate
The default landing for a company. It only ever shows that company's own data. New companies see a clear call to start their first free assessment; returning ones see their readiness score, insights and content workspace.

Advisor portal role: advisor
Advisory firms register their practice, then browse companies preparing to list and express interest in engagements. Matching is quality-gated: independence and conflict checks run before a firm can be scored against a company's needs.
- Register a firm — capture category, credentials and EGX registration details (reached from the dashboard once signed in).
- Browse corporates — companies actively seeking help, filtered to what the firm can serve (/advisor/browse).
- My interests — track engagements the firm has expressed interest in (/advisor/interests).
Reviewer panel role: reviewer
Reviewers safeguard platform quality. They work the certification queue, watch red flags and disputes across all tenants, and track their own review throughput.
- Review applications — certification applications awaiting a verdict.
- Manage providers — the vetted advisor roster and its quality scores.
- Dispute management — open disputes with a tamper-evident, hash-chained trail.
Trainer portal role: trainer
Trainers run the enablement side: workshops, the knowledge base, and peer-learning groups that help companies close capability gaps found in their assessments.

- Peer groups — curate cohorts of similar companies for shared learning.
Administrator & back-office role: admin
Administrators get a system-wide portal plus the full Filament back-office. The portal is the daily cockpit; Filament is the deep management surface for every entity on the platform.
Managing the marketplace & rulebook
Filament resources cover Users, Providers (advisors), Plans & billing, Certification applications, Disputes, Workshops, Knowledge, Company content, Peer groups and — critically — the versioned Listing Criteria that the whole diagnostic is built on. The seed ships 43 genuine EGX-registered advisor firms.
Shared tools
Some surfaces are available across roles — the knowledge base, workshops, the public idea board, peer groups, notifications and profile/2FA settings.
